The comparative project “Equity and Cash Transfers in Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico,” aims to understand and enhance the equity and effectiveness of cash transfer programs across Latin America. In Mexico, the focus is on the Becas para el Bienestar Benito Juárez (BBBJ) program and its transition to the Rita Cetina Universal Basic Education Scholarship, analyzing how these initiatives meet—or fail to meet—the needs of the country’s most vulnerable populations.
